When embarking on lifestyle changes of this magnitude, you will undoubtedly have a period of time when you feel like crap. The first few weeks I felt horrible. My blood sugar was decreasing to normal levels and my blood pressure was doing the same. My body was not accustomed to these new and "normal" levels. This is why the crappy feelings came about. After a few weeks, my blood sugar normalized and I felt fine, it took my blood pressure about 60 days to normalize, then I felt fine.
